Meet the Posse House

In 1970 the Posse moved to the Italian Gardens of Santa Cruz, an area more commonly referred to as Ocean Street Extension. The Posse House was finally purchased on April 9th, 1979 from the Rossi/Ferrari families who are long time residents of Santa Cruz County.

The Posse holds regular monthly business meetings and specialized mounted training at the Posse grounds. We host various events at this rustic historical clubhouse on Ocean Street Extension. The Posse will allow the public to use this clubhouse from time to time, by making a minimum donation fee directly to the Posse. Many find it to be the perfect rustic location to host their own event for the day.

The Posse has had a variety of special events held here over the years:

  • Memorials
  • Retirement parties
  • Small family reunions
  • Wedding rehearsal dinners
  • Small weddings
  • Birthday parties
  • Gourmet dinners
  • First aid + CPR classes

The Posse House is the perfect location for smaller, quieter events as it is centered in the middle of a gorgeous family farming community and takes pride in preserving and maintaining this historic building and grounds.
